Be the love you never received

Self Love

Self-Love Situations

Self-love is the best way to live life freely and happily. I genuinely want each and every person to first love themselves. When we grow up, we see people around us make sacrifices to make others happy, do things that they don’t want, can’t speak for themselves, follow others’ advice, follow parents’ instructions. We never raise questions because we think it’s normal. But no, it’s not normal.

  • It is not normal to suppress your thoughts for others.
  • It’s not normal to sacrifice your feelings because you are a girl.
  • It’s not normal to say “yes” when you are tired or stressed.
  • It’s not normal to ignore your feelings.
  • It’s not normal to let other people down you.
  • It’s not normal to give your powers away.
  • It’s not normal to allow other people not to take you seriously.
  • It’s not normal to settle for less.
  • It’s not normal to live a life that you don’t want.
  • It’s not normal to agree with others’ decisions when you do not.
  • It’s not normal to accept criticism.
  • It’s not normal to hate yourself if people don’t love you.

However

  • It is normal to speak up for yourself.
  • It is normal to feel comfortable in your own skin.
  • It is normal to live a life that you think you deserve.
  • It is normal to take some time for yourself.
  • It is normal to make decisions for yourself.
  • It is normal to say “no.”
  • It is normal not to allow situations and people to overwhelm you.
  • It is normal to work hard to achieve your goals.
  • It is normal to love yourself.
  • It’s normal to do things that are best for your well-being.
  • It is normal to feel your voice and opinion matter.
  • It is normal to make hard choices to stay true to yourself.
  • It is normal to live life differently.
  • It is normal to set your own standards.
  • It is normal to express yourself, even if it makes others uncomfortable.
  • It is normal to stand up for yourself.

Fall in love with taking care of yourself. Fall in love with the path of deep healing. Fall in love with becoming best version of yourself but with patience, with compassion and respect to your own journey.

- S. Mcnutt

Once you approve yourself, nobody in the world can stop you from becoming your best version.

Self-love is important for your physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being. Don’t accept the standards that have been set by other people. Accept yourself the way you are. Be comfortable with yourself. Trust yourself. The more you love yourself, the more you accept yourself, the easier it becomes for you to accept others and develop empathy. In life, we accept what we are taught. But you should question yourself,

  • Why are you thinking what you are thinking?
  • Does this thought process make you more peaceful?
  • Does this thought process make you more empathetic?
